Living with Leukaemia Diary Facebook Group

Every day 10 families are told their child has cancer. As the UK’s leading children’s cancer charity, CLIC Sargent is the only organisation to offer them all round care and support. That’s because we’re there every step of the way.

Welcome to Cancer Research UK, the UK’s leading charity dedicated to cancer research. Our websites have a wealth of information about cancer, our research, how to donate and more ways to support us.

Christian Lewis Trust

In 1989 a small group of families had a vision – to help and support families, who, like themselves, are affected by a child with cancer.
Their aims were simple – to improve the quality of life for children with cancer and to provide their families with support through the unimaginable stress that they live with day after day.
The Christian Lewis Trust Children’s Cancer Charity believes quality of life for children with cancer is a right, to work with them and their families is a privilege.

Children with Leukaemia

We are the UK’s leading charity dedicated exclusively to fighting Britain’s biggest childhood cancer.  For more than 20 years, we have been helping children affected by leukaemia. We fund research into causes and treatments, support families through welfare programmes and campaign on their behalf.

Leukaemia Research Fund

Leukaemia Research is the only charity in the UK dedicated exclusively to researching blood cancers and disorders including leukaemia, Hodgkin’s and other lymphomas, and myeloma.
110,000 people, children and adults alike, are living with these cancers today. 24,500 people are newly diagnosed with one of these conditions every year. We are committed to giving every one of them the best chance of survival.

Every year we collect, test, process, store and issue 2.1 million blood donations. We depend entirely on voluntary donations from the general public, and try to encourage our existing donors to give three times a year. (It’s amazing what the promise of a free cup of tea and some biscuits will do…)

The Family Fund helps families with severely disabled children to have choices and the opportunity to enjoy ordinary life.We give grants for things that make life easier and more enjoyable for the disabled child and their family, such as washing machines, driving lessons, hospital visiting costs, computers and holidays.

The CCLG is a national professional body responsible for the organisation of the treatment and management of children with cancer in the UK. The Group’s main remit is the coordination of national and international clinical trials, including biological studies. Other areas of activity include national cancer registration and provision of information for patients and families.
