I have been following Mia’s tale and it’s really great that she is doing so well. For all her problems, she always looks so happy in her photos, all credit to you for keeping her life, and Harvey’s, as normal as you could, despite all the obstacles fate has thrown at you. Hopefully things will be easier now, and I wish you all the luck you need.

Wow Michelle - what fab photos - Mia looks absolutely gorgeous in every one of them!! I can’t believe it’s been nearly a year since Mia was diagnosed. You are all such an inspiration to everyone to live life to the full!!

Really pleased to hear Mia is so well and a very happy birthday to Harvey!
Camping on the Isle of Wight looks great fun - we will have to try it next summer.
Mima is doing really well and she has just over 2 months until the end of treatment so counting down now. Steroids and Vincristine tomorrow so we are shutting the curtains for a few days!

Hello all,

Great update Shell and some lovely happy pics.

I did so enjoy having you all to stay and getting my house trashed in the nicest possible way, toys everywhere !! Great seeing Sam,Caleb and Jack in what must be one of the best playparks ever, across the road from Toys’rus and spending time choosing Harvey’s birthday lego kit, followed by lunch in Burgerking.

Oh yes, almost forgot to mention that Tyler (Tracey’s 15 month old ) is totally in love with Mia and went home after their visit and told Tony all about it. I’m not sure if Mia kissed him or let him kiss her but the effect was the same either way. According to Tyler, Harvey is ‘Arbey. It is so much fun watching little ones interacting with each other and learning from it.

‘Grandma Heaven’, especially since the good news of the remission, though maintenance is, of course, ongoing. Thanks Denyse in New Zealand for the positive input, so good to hear.

FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!! SO GOOD TO SEE YOU ALL HAVING FUN ALONG THE DIFFICULT JOURNEY. MIA YOU ARE GORGEOUS AND HARVEY, YOU HAVE ACHEIVED AN AWARD AT SCHOOL THAT IS TRULY BRILLIANT AFTER ALL OF THE THINGS THAT HAVE BEEN HAPPENING LATELY. Hello all! Well what a fantastic update. The photos of everyone are brill and sooo pleased you raised the amount you did. Mia is such a inspiration and also Harvey in how he’s dealt with everything over the year and still done well at school (unwaviering praise to parents too).
When ever I come to everybody loves Mia I always get stuck for word and away become quite emotional.(must be my age).
Well mia you carry in being so amazing to everyone and have plenty of fun.

So nice to hear all your news and great to hear you have had a fun time. I have been following your bolg for sometime, our daughter was only 19 months old when she was first diagnosed, she is now a happy, health 4 year old. We are still having 3 monthly checks, till next year and then 6 monthly for another year, then yearly until she is 20. By that time she will be taking me for my hospital appointments!!!!!!!!

Look forward to hearing more good news and photos.
